Blueprint Chev SB 383 Stroker Engine
Brute honest horsepower that will leave others in the rear view mirror. Built to exacting specifications, every engine in this lineup is ready for years of dependable performance. The base unit starts with a hand picked 4-bolt main 350 block bored .040" over. It's square and parallel decked and align honed. Cylinders are plateau honed to within .0002" straightness and roundness and then sonic tested for thickness. Brass freeze plugs are installed. The fully balanced rotating assembly features a Scat cast steel crank, Keith Black hypereutectic pistons, Hastings moly rings and Clevite bearings. The heavy duty roller timing set turns a performance hydraulic flat tappet cam. Cast iron heads feature swirl polished 2.02"/1.60" valves, performance springs and retainers. They finish the assembly with a Melling high volume oil pump, chrome oil pan, chrome valve covers, chrome timing cover and topped off with a Professional Products dual plane intake. All Blueprint engines are dyno tested and include complete dyno results.
